Car Wash Team Member
About The Position
Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking hard-working, dedicated, customer-focused team members who enjoy interacting with customers and contributing to daily operations. The role is suited to people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about operational excellence and outstanding customer service. Team members provide customer service, support sales and membership initiatives, help maintain the site and equipment, and assist with vehicle workflow. They follow safety and regulatory requirements, perform housekeeping, and monitor supplies. The position requires flexible availability, including at least one weekend day, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations, such as making change, at an eighth-grade level.
- Have flexible availability to cover shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays; working at least one weekend day is required.
- Remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.
- Be able to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 100°F.
- Be able to stand, walk, and move around vehicles for extended periods.
- Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, professional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Recite standard customer service greetings using an on-site electronic tablet.
- Assist with sales initiatives and membership growth strategies.
- Help keep the facility, equipment, and grounds clean, safe, and operational.
- Support vehicle throughput efforts to minimize wait times and improve the customer experience.
- Follow company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking chemicals and supplies.
