Car Wash Team Member
About The Position
Golden Nozzle Car Wash is hiring a hard-working, dedicated, customer-focused Team Member to support daily operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role involves interacting with customers in a fast-paced environment, supporting sales and membership growth, maintaining a clean and safe facility, and helping optimize vehicle flow. Team members may develop their skills and pursue career advancement within the organization. The position requires flexible availability for shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, with at least one weekend day required. It also involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions, extended periods of standing and walking around vehicles, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations, such as making change, at an eighth-grade level.
- Have flexible availability for shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays; working at least one day on the weekend is required.
- Be able to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.
- Be able to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 100°F.
- Be able to stand, walk, and move around vehicles for extended periods.
- Be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
- Demonstrate a customer-centric mindset, results-driven execution, safety and operational compliance, and effective verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, professional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns.
- Use an on-site electronic tablet to recite standard customer service greetings and support sales initiatives and membership growth strategies.
- Help keep the facility, equipment, and grounds clean, safe, and operational.
- Support vehicle-throughput optimization to reduce wait times and improve the customer experience.
- Follow company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and monitor inventory to assist with restocking chemicals and supplies.
- Remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.
