Car Wash Team Member
About The Position
Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking hard-working, dedicated, customer-focused team members who enjoy interacting with customers. The role supports daily car wash operations in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on operational excellence and outstanding customer service. It offers opportunities to develop skills and advance within the organization. Team members provide customer service, support sales and membership growth, maintain the facility and equipment, help optimize vehicle flow, follow safety and compliance procedures, perform housekeeping, and monitor inventory for chemicals and supplies. The position requires flexible availability, including at least one weekend day, and involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations, such as making change, at an eighth-grade level.
- Have flexible availability for shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays; working at least one weekend day is required.
- Be able to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.
- Be able to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 100°F.
- Be able to stand, walk, and move around vehicles for extended periods.
- Be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
- Demonstrate a customer-centric mindset, results-driven execution, safety and operational compliance, and effective verbal and written communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and professional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Use an on-site electronic tablet to recite standard customer service greetings and support sales initiatives and membership growth strategies.
- Help keep the facility, equipment, and grounds clean, safe, and operational.
- Support efforts to optimize vehicle throughput, reduce wait times, and improve the customer experience.
- Follow company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and monitor inventory to assist with restocking chemicals and supplies.
- Remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.
