Car Wash Team Member
About The Position
Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking hard-working, dedicated, customer-focused individuals to support daily operations and provide an exceptional customer experience. Team Members work in a fast-paced environment and help maintain operational excellence and outstanding customer service, with opportunities to develop skills and advance within the organization. The role includes interacting with customers, delivering standard greetings using an on-site electronic tablet, supporting sales initiatives and membership growth, maintaining the facility and equipment, helping optimize vehicle throughput, following safety and compliance procedures, performing housekeeping, and monitoring inventory for chemicals and supplies. The position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with at least one weekend workday. Team Members work outdoors in a range of weather conditions and are exposed to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations, such as making change, at an eighth-grade level.
- Must have flexible availability for shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays; working at least one day on the weekend is required.
- Must be able to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work outdoors in weather conditions with temperatures ranging from -10°F to 100°F.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move around vehicles for extended periods.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, professional customer service and address inquiries and concerns.
- Recite standard customer service greetings using an on-site electronic tablet.
- Assist with sales initiatives and membership growth strategies.
- Help keep the facility, equipment, and grounds clean, safe, and operational.
- Support efforts to optimize vehicle throughput and minimize customer wait times.
- Follow company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking chemicals and supplies.
