About The Position

The Team Lead performs daily operational tasks involved in running the car wash facility and providing excellent customer service. The role includes coordinating and supervising team members, assigning and monitoring work, training staff, addressing customer issues, and ensuring company policies and safety standards are followed. The Team Lead also assists customers throughout the wash process, keeps the facility and equipment organized, and handles cash drawers and deposits. Employees may be asked to perform additional reasonable tasks beyond those listed.

Responsibilities

• Organize shift schedules for team members.
• Monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off.
• Assign duties to employees based on their roles and skills.
• Supervise employees and assist with tasks as necessary.
• Manage employee requests and transgressions.
• Train new and current team members on tasks.
• Handle customer issues and manage conflicts.
• Follow company policies and health, safety, and employment standards.
• Balance cash drawers and prepare cash deposits.
• Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services.
• Take and process wash payments to the satisfaction of customers and the car wash.
• Clean the facility and keep equipment and supplies in their appropriate places and organized.
• Assist customers with any part of the car wash process.
• Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel, ensuring customers follow directions.
• Visually inspect vehicles to confirm their condition before they enter the wash area.
• Ensure company policies and safety procedures are followed in daily tasks.
• Keep vacuums unclogged, empty trash cans, and hang hoses properly.
• Respond with urgency to the needs of customers, the home office, and fellow teammates.
