About The Position

Tagg-N-Go Car Wash is seeking a Car Wash Lead to support the Site Manager in leading a team and creating a positive customer experience. The role helps train team members, oversee daily car wash operations, maintain safety and service standards, and keep the site and equipment in good condition. The position works in a fast-paced outdoor environment, with hours that may vary based on weather; scheduled hours are not guaranteed because business needs can change with weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• At least 2 years of Shift Lead or management experience.
• Engaging personality and positive attitude.
• Dependability, honesty, and reliability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work on one’s feet.
• Team-oriented approach and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying temperatures, including heat and cold.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in leading the team and delivering a positive customer experience.
• Participate in the training program and help train new and existing team members.
• Oversee car wash operations to ensure efficient flow and proper vehicle preparation.
• Direct drivers safely and identify and handle potential challenges to protect customers and staff.
• Help maintain the site’s appearance and perform regular cleaning tasks.
• Answer customer questions, explain available services, and address concerns professionally.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for washing by securing wipers, pushing in mirrors, and identifying potential challenges such as truck beds.
• Observe wash operations, identify opportunities for improvement, verify equipment is functioning properly, and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Ensure customers and staff follow company policies and procedures.
• Assist with recruitment, performance reviews, discipline, and dismissals.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and help ensure systems run smoothly.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team and car wash operations.
