About The Position

The Car Wash Attendant greets customers, answers questions, explains wash options, assists customers at pay stations, and guides vehicles into the wash tunnel. The role also involves maintaining the car wash site through cleaning tasks, completing opening and closing procedures, and performing basic troubleshooting. The attendant is expected to arrive on time, follow the dress and appearance code, work safely, and perform responsibilities with minimal supervision. The position is based in a typical outdoor car wash environment with variable weather, damp and humid conditions, and potentially loud noise.

• Ability to work in damp, humid conditions and variable outdoor weather.
• Ability to regularly lift or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in noisy conditions and wear required personal protective equipment, including hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain available wash options.
• Assist every customer who comes through the wash at the pay stations.
• Respond to customer inquiries.
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Maintain the car wash site by taking out garbage, sweeping the lot, and pressure-washing the wash bay.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Perform basic or light troubleshooting of daily duties.
• Report to work on time and follow the dress and appearance code.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Follow standard operating procedures and OSHA safety guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.
