About The Position

C.H. Robinson is hiring a Capacity Portfolio Representative intern for Summer 2027. This paid internship introduces students to business development and account management in the logistics and transportation industry. Interns participate in interactive onboarding covering the company’s technology, business development strategies, and customer-centric culture, then join the sales team for hands-on experience supporting business growth and client service. They engage with carriers and other stakeholders, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and build an industry network. The program provides practical experience and opportunities to develop negotiation, relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving skills while contributing to initiatives that support clients and C.H. Robinson.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside industry professionals to learn internal business processes and supply chain best practices.
• Build relationships internally across teams and externally with customers, carriers, and suppliers.
• Learn and use technology systems, including the proprietary global supply chain platform Navisphere®.
• Learn and apply skills in sales and negotiation, operations management, and transportation information systems.
• Support business growth and provide service to clients as part of the sales team.
