About The Position

Vista Wealth Solutions is offering a hands-on summer internship for people interested in financial services. Interns will shadow experienced financial advisors, participate in a robust training program, and gain exposure to several areas of the financial services industry. They will learn to assess client needs and develop strategies to support clients’ financial security, while developing sales skills and knowledge of the industry with guidance from experienced professionals. The internship is described as a foundation for becoming a full-time Financial Professional. Interns may continue part-time during the school year and may join full-time after graduation.

Requirements

• Be a candidate for a BA/BS and/or graduate degree.
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Be able to obtain the required licenses and registrations.
• Demonstrate relationship-building skills and a people-first approach.
• Be self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
• Be an eager learner with a professional demeanor, excellent presentation skills, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain Life and Health Insurance licenses.
• Gain exposure to business technology tools, including A360, EMoney, EZ-App, and Coverpath.
• Participate in client meetings, case design, implementation strategy discussions, client annual reviews, and events.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings, including weekly activity updates, professional development, and industry concepts.
• Collaborate with other interns to research and present a project on best practices for building a financial services business.
• Shadow experienced financial advisors and participate in the internship training program.
