Canvasser - Greater Cleveland Area (Mentor, OH)
About The Position
Window Nation is hiring outgoing and motivated Canvassers for lead generation and local outreach in Mentor, Ohio, and surrounding cities, including Chardon and Madison. The role involves friendly, door-to-door neighborhood outreach to homeowners to discuss the company’s window products, as well as representing Window Nation at local community events and fairs. Canvassers provide information using presentations and scripts, answer homeowner questions, and work toward sales goals with support from an experienced team. The work is outdoors and includes standing and walking for parts of the shift. Paid training and coaching are provided; prior sales experience is not required. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This schedule may change periodically based on business needs, seasonal volume, and weather. Pay starts at $16.75 per hour, with uncapped weekly and monthly performance bonuses and an additional 1% bonus on sales the Canvasser helps generate. The position includes paid time off and a benefits package with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) retirement options. Window Nation does not provide current or future employment visa sponsorship; applicants must be authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of work experience.
- Ability to walk and stand outdoors for extended periods, with or without accommodation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future visa sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in field canvassing, door-to-door outreach, sales, customer service, retail, lead generation, or event promotion.
- Good communication skills and comfort speaking with new people.
Responsibilities
