About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a full-time Campus Security Officer in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The role is scheduled for the second shift, Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week, and pays $17.50 per hour. A CPR certificate is required.

The officer provides customer service, conducts interior and exterior foot patrols, observes and reports activity, and helps protect the campus property. Duties include deterring vagrants, managing employees at the assigned site, maintaining a professional relationship with the client, regulating traffic and enforcing property traffic laws, de-escalating verbal altercations, and responding rapidly to critical situations. The officer is expected to use independent judgment and enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• At least one year of security, military, or law enforcement experience is required.
• State license, if required.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• CPR certificate required.
• Experience with access control.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities
