About The Position

The Campus Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No security experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. The position requires a valid driver's license and clean driving record, customer service skills, successful completion of a drug screen and background check, and the ability to meet applicable security licensing requirements.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking may be required for long periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
