About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a Campus Security Officer in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on protecting people and property while providing excellent customer service. Officers observe and survey the assigned area, report activity, respond rapidly to critical situations, and enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards. The position also involves supervising and managing employees at the assigned site and maintaining a professional relationship with the client.

The posting lists two part-time weekend schedules: mornings on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or overnight on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Each schedule is 24 hours per week. Compensation is $17.50 per hour. An active driver's license and CPR certificate are required. Requirements

• Active driver's license.
• CPR certificate.
• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• One year of security, military, or law enforcement experience is required.
• State license if required.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols around the property.
• Deter vagrants from the property.
• Supervise and manage employees at the assigned job site.
• Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
• Use independent judgment and sound decision-making in performing duties.
• Observe and survey the area and report activity at the assigned location.
• Regulate traffic and enforce traffic laws on the property.
• De-escalate verbal altercations.
• Respond rapidly in critical situations.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
