About The Position

GardaWorld is hiring a Campus Security Officer in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The officer provides security services on a college campus, prioritizing customer service while protecting people and property. The position includes interior and exterior patrols, access control, traffic regulation, reporting on activity, de-escalating verbal altercations, and responding rapidly to critical situations. The officer must use independent judgment, enforce client procedures and standards, and maintain a professional relationship with the client. The posting lists two part-time weekend schedules: mornings, Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., or overnight, Saturday and Sunday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.; each schedule is 24 hours per week. Compensation is $17.50 per hour. An active driver's license and CPR certificate are required. Requirements

• High school education or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• One year of security, military, or law enforcement experience is required.
• State license, if required.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Active driver's license.
• CPR certificate.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols around the property.
• Deter vagrants from the property.
• Supervise and manage employees at the assigned job site.
• Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with the client at the assigned site.
• Exercise independent judgment and sound decision-making while performing duties.
• Observe and survey the area, and report activity at the assigned location.
• Regulate traffic and enforce traffic laws on the property.
• De-escalate verbal altercations.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
