About The Position

The Campus Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site to protect client property and personnel. No experience is necessary; training is provided. The position pays $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Ability to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for potentially long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Security experience is preferred.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is considered a good fit.
