About The Position

EchoStar is hiring a remote Call Center Sales Rep for its Inside Sales & Retention teams. The role handles 100% inbound calls from new and existing customers, with no outbound calls or cold calling. Representatives use a consultative approach to explain EchoStar’s TV, internet, and wireless products and services, influence purchasing decisions, and handle customer interactions honestly and with integrity. Candidates must live in Ohio in or near Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, or Akron. The role is full-time, with hours that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays. The listed base pay is $34,000, with on-target earnings of $70,000 based on a $16.00-per-hour base and uncapped commission. The posting notes that high performers can earn $100,000 or more and elite performers $150,000 or more. Compensation may reflect a combination of hourly pay and a location pay differential. Employees are responsible for home-workspace setup costs, except where required by law. Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
Competitive spirit, determination, resilience, a persuasive personality, and a growth mindset; operate with integrity.
High school diploma or GED.
Must live in Ohio in or near Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, or Akron.
Complete a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
Have a smartphone or device with an active network connection.
Have a home workspace with wired internet providing at least 25 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload.
Have a USB keyboard, mouse, headset, webcam, and at least two monitors.
Full-time availability; hours may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
