About The Position

EchoStar is hiring a full-time, remote Call Center Retention Rep for applicants who live in Ohio, in or near Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, or Akron. The role is part of the company’s Inside Sales & Retention teams and involves handling 100% inbound calls from new and existing customers, with no outbound or cold calls. Reps use a consultative approach to explain and sell EchoStar’s TV, internet, and wireless products and services in a competitive, fast-paced production environment. Customer interactions should be handled honestly and with integrity.

The listed base pay is $34,000, or $16.00 per hour, with uncapped commission. On-target earnings are listed as $70,000; high performers may earn $100,000 or more, and elite performers may earn $150,000 or more. Compensation may include hourly pay and a location pay differential. The role includes paid training, potential career advancement, incentives, and a benefits package.

Applicants must live in the specified Ohio areas and provide a suitable home workspace and equipment. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record. The posting remains active for at least three days and may be extended in three-day increments until the position is filled.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
• Competitive spirit, determination, resilience, a persuasive personality, a growth mindset, and integrity.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must live in Ohio in or near Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, or Akron.
• Must complete a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record.
• Must have a smartphone or device with an active network connection.
• Must have a home workspace with wired internet of at least 25 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload, a USB keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam, and at least two monitors.
• Employee is responsible for home-workspace setup costs, except where required otherwise by law.
