Cage Cashier - On Call
About The Position
The Cage Cashier executes guest monetary transactions at an assigned window bank, maintains an accurate count of company assets, and provides excellent customer service. The role handles guest and company funds and related documentation in accordance with gaming regulations and company policies and procedures. Duties include exchanging gaming chips and tickets, cashing checks, processing markers and fills, maintaining the bank balance, safeguarding casino cage assets, assisting customers with credit applications, and maintaining customer credit files. The cashier also issues window markers and safety deposit boxes, enters markers and fill and credit slips into a computer, assists guests with inquiries and promotions, and keeps a professional appearance and the workstation stocked. The position requires standing for most of the shift and performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Basic math skills and knowledge of currency.
- Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters for cash and coin.
- Ability to bend, push, lift, and carry up to 26 pounds.
- Strong communication skills and ability to read and speak English.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications and/or licenses required by local gaming regulations.

- Previous money-handling or cashiering experience.
Responsibilities
