About The Position

As a Cage Cashier III – High Limit, you will process monetary transactions and exchanges with guests. The role performs a range of cashiering activities across cage banks and windows, handles checks, tickets, markers, and foreign currency, documents transactions, balances the bank at the end of the shift, and assists patrons with general information. The position requires varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least 1 year of prior relevant experience.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
General mathematical knowledge, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and money handling.
Ability to balance a bank independently and identify errors when it is out of balance.
Knowledge of the relationships between banks, especially the main bank, other banks, and front service windows.
Working knowledge of a 10-key adding machine, currency counter, and cash advance machine.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Basic knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and office equipment such as telephones, copiers, and fax machines.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under time constraints and meet established deadlines, with attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with business contacts.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of casino cage cashier experience.
Experience with Title 31 reporting.
Experience working in a similar resort setting.

Responsibilities

Perform frontline entry-level transactions, cage credit transactions, and employee bank/window transactions.
Perform functions in a marker/IOU bank, cash bank, main bank, and High Limit Slot or High Limit cages; may also service patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe units.
Cash all types of patron checks within specified guidelines, as well as TITO and Race and Sports tickets.
Conduct marker transactions on patron accounts.
Redeem acceptable types of foreign currencies.
Secure and document all recordable transactions made with company assets, and record all checks cashed in the specified computer system.
Complete electronic multiple transaction logs accurately and complete transaction logs manually when necessary.
Balance the bank at the end of the shift.
Assist patrons with general information upon request.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
