About The Position
The Cafe Supervisor maintains guest services in accordance with company standards, expedites guest transactions, supports guest satisfaction at the service desk, and helps control cash and media materials. The position also supports cashier training, daily scheduling and productivity, front-end supplies, and general guest-service and café operations. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. The stated pay range is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Two to three years of supervisory experience is required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge every guest, maintain solid product knowledge, and provide outstanding guest service.
- Oversee and authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks, and discretion discounts.
- Ensure completion of point-of-sale transactions and proper control of cash and media at registers.
- Help train cashiers and cross-train other associates.
- Help prepare daily deposits, change, and media.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support loss-prevention efforts.
- Oversee cashier productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling; communicate performance issues to management.
- Maintain front-end supplies.
- Help provide guest service, floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance, and merchandise replenishment as needed.
- Cover cashier shifts when call-offs occur.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
