Part - Time Café Ambassador - SoHo

Capital One•New York, NY

About The Position

The Café Ambassador is the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good, working in a modern community hub rather than behind a traditional teller line. The role combines high-end guest service with guidance on digital banking, helping connect digital innovation with human interaction. It is not a barista role and does not involve serving coffee. The ambassador proactively engages with guests, shares information about Capital One products and services through genuine conversation, and helps customers use digital tools and resolve technology challenges. The role also supports local financial-health events within Capital One’s established programs and community partnerships. Ambassadors advocate for customers, resolve issues in accordance with compliance and regulatory requirements, and may handle complaints and escalated situations requiring de-escalation. The position calls for an inclusive, supportive approach and a flexible, detail-oriented team member who can adapt to change. The work is active and involves moving throughout the Café. The employee may need to support other Cafés within a 50-mile radius and occasionally assist other locations in the broader region. Schedules may include nights, weekends, and holidays, may change based on business needs, and required training may take place outside the primary shift schedule.
