Café Ambassador - Miami Beach

Capital One•Miami Beach, FL

About The Position

The Café Ambassador is the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good, working throughout a modern Café that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop. Rather than working behind a teller line, the Ambassador connects guests with Capital One’s digital banking services and provides high-end customer service. The role is a banking guide position, not a barista role, and does not involve serving coffee or meeting traditional sales quotas. The Ambassador builds genuine connections with guests, explains Capital One products and services, and helps customers use mobile tools and resolve technology issues. The role also supports local financial-health events within Capital One’s established programs and community partnerships. Ambassadors advocate for customers, resolve issues in compliance with regulatory requirements, and handle complaints and escalated situations, including de-escalation. This is an active, guest-facing role that involves moving throughout the Café and supporting the flow of the guest experience. The Ambassador helps foster an inclusive environment and may support other Cafés within a 50-mile radius, with occasional opportunities to assist other locations in the broader region. A flexible schedule is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays; schedules may change based on business needs. Required training may occur at times different from the primary shift.
