About The Position
The C-Store Cashier is the face of the store and provides customer service that supports a positive shopping experience. The role includes greeting customers, assisting with retail sales, and accurately handling point-of-sale transactions. The cashier also maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the store and gas pumps, stocks merchandise, and supports team members. Candidates should be dependable, customer-focused, communicative, and able to manage multiple tasks and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
- Provide work cards required by the jurisdiction before the start date.
- Valid Health Card.
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
- Ability to read and interpret English documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication skills may also be required.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-form instructions and address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Able to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance from others.
Nice To Haves
- Previous POS experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
- Maintain the store's appearance so it is clean, neat, and organized.
- Process accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
- Stock and clean the store.
- Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the store's outside appearance.
- Support team members and promote a positive team environment.
