About The Position
The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and supports a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, processing point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining the store and gas-pump areas. The role requires a friendly, dependable, customer-focused team member who can communicate effectively, multitask, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Required work cards for the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date, and the role requires valid Health and Alcohol Awareness Cards.
Requirements

- Ability to read and interpret English-language documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to stand for long periods and to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

- Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
- Maintain the store’s appearance, ensuring it is clean, neat, and organized.
- Process accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
- Stock and clean the store.
- Maintain the cleanliness and management of gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store.
