About The Position

The Store Porter helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and team members. The role includes cleaning the store interior and exterior, including restrooms, windows, floors, and gas pump areas; stocking coolers; organizing and putting away freight; and assisting with general upkeep. The successful candidate is dependable, manages multiple tasks efficiently, upholds integrity, teamwork, and customer service, communicates effectively, and remains composed during busy or uncertain moments. Flexible scheduling is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. A valid Health Card is required.

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication skills may also be required.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Valid Health Card.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance from others.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior and exterior of the facility, including restrooms and gas pumps.
• Mop floors.
• Clean windows.
• Stock coolers.
• Put away freight.
