About The Position

The Porter helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and team members. The role includes cleaning the store’s interior and exterior, including restrooms, windows, floors, and gas pump areas; stocking coolers; putting away freight; and assisting with general upkeep. The successful candidate is dependable, able to manage multiple tasks, and committed to integrity, teamwork, and customer service. The position requires strong communication skills, composure during uncertain situations, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis as needed. The role has no supervisory responsibilities. A valid Health Card is required. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.

Requirements

• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Valid Health Card.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

Responsibilities
