About The Position
The Porter helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and team members. The role involves cleaning the store’s interior and exterior, including restrooms, windows, floors, and gas pump areas; stocking coolers; putting away freight; and assisting with general upkeep. The successful candidate is dependable, can manage multiple tasks efficiently, upholds integrity, teamwork, and customer service, communicates effectively, and stays composed during busy or uncertain moments. Flexible scheduling is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and requires a valid Health Card. Work is performed in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate.
Requirements
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.

- Ability to maintain composure during times of uncertainty.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
- Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Valid Health Card.
