About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service, processes point-of-sale transactions, and helps maintain the store and its surrounding area. The role includes greeting customers, supporting a positive shopping experience, stocking and cleaning the store, and maintaining the gas pumps and exterior. The cashier works with team members and is expected to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Provide jurisdiction-required work cards before the start date.

• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and interpret English-language documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Able to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance from others.

Nice To Haves

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers.
• Maintain the store's appearance so it is clean, neat, and organized.
• Process accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
