About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and helping guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, supporting retail sales, and maintaining a clean, neat, organized store and gas-pump area. Candidates should be friendly, dependable, customer-focused, and able to communicate effectively, multitask, remain composed in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to a positive team environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written English communication skills may also be required.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.

• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the store's outside appearance.
