About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store and provides customer service to ensure guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with retail sales and point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining the store’s appearance and cleanliness. Candidates should be dependable, customer-focused, communicate effectively, work well under pressure, multitask, and contribute positively to the team. Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 lbs., and stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring it is clean, neat, and organized.

• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store.
