About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store, providing customer service and supporting a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, helping them with their shopping experience, and accurately processing point-of-sale transactions. The cashier also helps maintain the store’s appearance, cleanliness, organization, stock, gas pumps, and exterior, while supporting team members and promoting a positive team environment. Candidates should be dependable, customer-focused, communicate effectively, multitask, and remain composed in fast-paced or uncertain situations. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. Work cards required for the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date. A valid Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card are required. The work environment typically has moderate noise. Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting up to 45 pounds, and standing, stooping, lifting, wiping, reaching, and typing without assistance.

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 pounds, and stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
