About The Position

The Porter helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and team members. The role includes cleaning the store’s interior and exterior, including restrooms, windows, floors, and gas pump areas; stocking coolers; putting away freight; and assisting with general upkeep. The successful candidate is dependable, can manage multiple tasks efficiently, communicates well, remains composed during uncertain situations, and demonstrates integrity, teamwork, and customer service. Flexible scheduling is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. A valid Health Card is required. The work environment usually has a moderate noise level.

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Valid Health Card.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance from others.

Responsibilities
