About The Position

The C-Store Cashier is the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and helping guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the store and gas pumps, and supporting a positive team environment. Candidates should be friendly, dependable, customer-focused, able to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment, and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work cards required by the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date. A valid Health Card and Alcohol Awareness Card are required.

• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, keeping it clean, neat, and organized to provide a positive shopping experience.
• Process accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store.
• Support team members and promote a positive team environment.
