About The Position

The C-Store Cashier provides customer service and supports a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, completing point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the store and gas pumps, stocking merchandise, and supporting team members. The role requires a friendly, dependable, customer-focused person who communicates effectively, multitasks, and remains composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The work environment is usually moderately noisy. Physical demands include standing for long periods and lifting up to 45 pounds, as well as standing, stooping, lifting, wiping, reaching, and typing without assistance.

• Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
