About The Position

The C-Store Cashier is the face of the store and provides customer service to help ensure a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with retail sales and point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining the store and gas-pump areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and supports a positive team environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required.

Requirements

• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once.
• Dedication to integrity, teamwork, and customer service.
• Ability to maintain composure during uncertainty and in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Provide jurisdiction-required work cards before the start date.
• Valid Health Card.
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English, including interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant experience, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
