About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store and provides customer service to help guests have a positive shopping experience. This role involves greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, supporting retail sales, and maintaining the store and gas-pump areas. The successful candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and contributes to a positive team environment. Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, is required.

• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication may also be required.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
