About The Position

The Cashier is the face of the store and provides customer service to help guests have a positive shopping experience. The role includes greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the store and gas pumps, stocking merchandise, and supporting a positive team environment. Candidates should be dependable, communicate effectively, multitask, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required.

• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Provide work cards required by the jurisdiction before the start date.
• Valid Health Card.
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and interpret English documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English; written English communication skills may also be required.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-form instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

• Previous retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.
