About The Position
The C-Store Cashier is the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and helping guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, handling point-of-sale transactions, and supporting the store’s appearance and operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and contributes positively to the team. Candidates must be able to multitask, remain composed in a fast-paced environment, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work is performed in an environment where the noise level is usually moderate. Physical demands include standing for extended periods and being able to lift up to 45 pounds, as well as standing, stooping, lifting, wiping, reaching, and typing without assistance. Compensation is $17.00 per hour.

- Provide work cards required for the jurisdiction before the start date.
- Valid Health Card.
- Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English, including reading safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; written English communication may also be required.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 pounds, and stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

Responsibilities
