About The Position

The Cashier serves as the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and helping guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with retail sales and point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the store's appearance, and supporting a positive team environment. Candidates should be dependable, customer-focused, able to communicate effectively, multitask, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to read and interpret English documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Able to stand for long periods and stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all customers.
• Maintain the store's appearance, keeping it clean, neat, and organized.
• Complete accurate customer transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the exterior appearance of the store.
• Support team members and promote a positive team environment.
