About The Position

The C-Store Cashier is the face of the store, providing customer service and helping guests have a positive shopping experience. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with retail sales and point-of-sale transactions, maintaining the store and gas pump areas, and supporting coworkers. The successful candidate is dependable, communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis, are required. The role has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous POS experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers.
• Maintain the store’s appearance, ensuring it is clean, neat, and organized.
• Process accurate point-of-sale customer transactions.
• Stock and clean the store.
• Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the outside appearance of the store.
