About The Position

As a Cashier, you are the face of the store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guests have a positive shopping experience. The role requires a friendly, dependable, customer-focused individual who communicates effectively, works well under pressure, multitasks, and maintains composure in a fast-paced environment. Cashiers handle point-of-sale transactions, greet customers, and help create a pleasant shopping experience. Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.

The cashier is responsible for customer service, store appearance, accurate transactions, stocking and cleaning, and maintaining the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and the store’s exterior. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work is performed in a usually moderate-noise environment and requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 45 pounds.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
• Work cards required for the jurisdiction must be provided before the start date.
• Valid Health Card.
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 pounds, and stand, stoop, lift, wipe, reach, and type without assistance.

• Previous point-of-sale experience, retail sales, gas station attendant, or customer service experience.

Responsibilities
