About The Position
Azabu is seeking a Busser to support restaurant service by preparing and resetting dining areas, serving and refilling water and beverages, clearing and replenishing tableware, and keeping restaurant areas clean and orderly. The Busser assists servers and hosts, monitors table conditions, and helps maintain health and safety standards throughout kitchen and dining areas. The position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent lifting and carrying, and bending, reaching, and stooping. Employees must be able to safely lift up to 30 pounds and work in a busy restaurant setting. The role requires flexibility to work AM or PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities when working with high-profile clients.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Flexible to work AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Able to frequently lift, carry, bend, reach, and stoop.
- Able to safely lift up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves
- Preferred 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume, luxury lounge or restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
- Set tables with required items, including napkins, linens, and silverware, and place tableware on tables.
- Serve water as needed and refill beverages.
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish tableware as needed.
- Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
- Maintain health and safety regulations in kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist servers and hosts when necessary.
- Keep restaurant areas neat and orderly at all times.
- Help servers check tables for plate condition, empty glasses, and cleanliness.
- At the end of every shift, sweep and/or mop restaurant areas and remove, clean, and replace matting.
