About The Position
The Busser clears and resets tables, carries dishes to the dish room, runs food from the kitchen, and serves tables. The role may involve working in different Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels and working holidays wherever needed, even when the employee’s primary outlet is closed. Employees may also be transferred to another job assignment or location on a temporary or regular basis as needed. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; students currently enrolled in high school who work part-time while attending school are excepted.
- Ability to stand and walk; use hands and fingers to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
- Occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to the dining room.
- Clear tables and carry dirty dishes to the dish room, then reset tables according to standards.
- Assist with setting up the dining room for scheduled shifts.
- Assist servers when necessary.
- Set buffet tables for meal shifts.
- Attend required training classes.
- Attend outlet staff meetings as scheduled.
- Follow Resort Standards of Operation procedures.
- Work in various Food and Beverage outlet locations depending on business levels.
- Work holidays wherever needed, including when the employee’s primary outlet is closed.
