About The Position

The F&B Intern rotates through and trains in all positions of the Food and Beverage Department. The internship is intended to provide the student with practical work experience in the hospitality industry. The intern is accountable for assigned training-program tasks and projects and may perform other job-related duties, including answering phones, administrative work, and assisting with meal-period setup. The role contributes to Pinehurst’s culture of genuine hospitality, trustworthiness, good stewardship, and inspired innovation.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, and at least six months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate and train in all positions of the Food and Beverage Department.
• Complete training-program tasks and project responsibilities assigned by the Fine Dining Operations Manager.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested, including answering phones, administrative duties, and assisting with meal-period setup.
• Maintain excellent organizational and time-management skills.
