About The Position

The Host greets and seats guests during working hours in a dining outlet. The role may be assigned to various Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels and requires availability to work holidays wherever needed, even if the employee’s primary outlet is closed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), and a minimum of 3 months of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to regularly stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet, and seat Members and Guests.
• Handle the menus used during each meal period and ensure they are presentable.
• Answer the phone during hours of operation.
• Report Members’ and Guests’ needs, problems, or concerns to a supervisor.
• Assist servers with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables when needed and time allows.
• Clear extra settings from tables when seating guests.
• Attend outlet staff meetings as scheduled.
• Organize and keep the Host/Hostess stand clean and neat.
• Work in various Food and Beverage outlet locations depending on business levels.
• Work holidays wherever needed, even if the primary outlet is closed.
