About The Position

The Busser / Runner supports the wait staff and kitchen team in delivering exceptional hospitality service at Condado Ocean Club. The role maintains cleanliness and order in dining areas, clears and resets tables, delivers food and beverages, keeps guest and staff supplies stocked, and assists kitchen staff with food orders, dishware, and cleanliness. The position also helps maintain inventory, completes closing duties, secures items and storage areas, and follows company safety, security, quality, and appearance standards. Team members are expected to provide attentive guest service, communicate replenishment needs, and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Requirements

Hospitality oriented.
Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Technical food and beverage knowledge and expertise.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in dining areas while supporting wait staff and the kitchen team.
Clear and reset tables promptly.
Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to dining areas and assist with additional guest requests.
Keep utensils, napkins, condiments, and other necessary supplies stocked and readily available.
Clean dining areas, including wiping tables, chairs, and other surfaces and sweeping and mopping floors.
Assist kitchen staff with running food orders, organizing dishware, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
Secure items and storage areas at the end of each closing shift and complete closing duties.
Prepare a daily purchasing list to maintain healthy inventory levels as directed by the manager.
Follow company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the supervisor; and complete safety training and certifications.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and protect confidential proprietary information.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
