This role is responsible for providing excellent service to tables by ensuring they are adequately supplied with water, glasses, silverware, butter, and placemats. The busperson will serve water, bread, and butter to guests upon seating, and assist servers in clearing dishes and resetting tables. A key part of the role involves transporting soiled dishes to the kitchen and cleaning up any spills during meal times. The busperson is also responsible for leaving their station in order for the next shift and promoting positive public relations. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
