About The Position

AeroVironment is building a Business Transformation function to address important company challenges, improve execution speed, and support a period of significant growth. The Business Transformation Manager will lead high-priority initiatives from problem definition through implementation and handoff, improving processes, systems, and ways of working that limit speed, scale, or execution. This is a hands-on operating role involving root-cause analysis, solution development, cross-functional collaboration, process and tooling implementation, and training teams to adopt new practices. The role works with subject matter experts across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, Programs, Growth, and other teams, while taking ownership of generalist work that amplifies their impact. As one of the first employees in the Business Operations function, the manager will help shape the team’s project portfolio, brief executive leadership, and recruit talent. The role is onsite in Simi Valley, Los Angeles, and requires access to information subject to ITAR and/or EAR compliance; applicants will be asked to provide documentation verifying U.S. person status. Some positions may require current U.S. citizenship due to contract requirements.
