About The Position

The Business Operations Specialist maintains vendor relationships and fills organizational roles above the administrative level and below the management level. The role may also maintain project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budgets. It usually reports to a project manager or director.

The specialist analyzes Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI), manages system-based sales, order forecast, and channel inventory tools, and supports customer order management and delivery commitments. The role also contributes to supply chain projects as needed.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of related work experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or Operations Research is preferred.
• Prior supply chain or demand planning experience is preferred.
• Statistical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze weekly Purchase Sales Inventory (PSI) to identify sales target status, drive product manufacturing, and support timely delivery fulfillment to achieve sales plans, product development, and strategic product launches.
• Manage system-based tools that provide real-time information about sales, order forecasts, and channel inventory; extract data for channel inventory analysis and reconciliation.
• Update daily or weekly product orders for designated customers and provide customer delivery commitments.
• Attend or lead customer CPFR calls and update sales forecasts based on future product availability, promotions, and customer channel inventory status.
• Assist designated customers with PO status, returns, and short or over shipments in assigned product groups.
• Track and forecast account sales and inventory, and update system-based tools.
• Create dashboards.
• Assist with supply chain projects as needed.
