About The Position

Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF) is a nonprofit business lending organization that provides access to capital, grants, and free business coaching to Colorado entrepreneurs who cannot secure traditional financing. CEF focuses on supporting small business owners, including people with low-to-moderate incomes, minorities, women, and veterans, and works to create community impact through job creation, wealth building, and business growth. The Business Operations Specialist works on a team led by the Director of Business Operations at the intersection of people, processes, and systems. The team documents how work gets done, identifies friction, implements improvements to technology systems and process workflows, and provides day-to-day technical support. The role coordinates workflows and deadlines across teams; resolves common technology issues; maintains CRM data quality; documents and improves processes; supports reporting and analysis; gathers and translates system feedback into actionable requests; tests and rolls out system changes; trains staff; and supports special projects. CEF offers a hybrid work environment. Employees must be based in Colorado and can expect to travel to the Denver headquarters Monday through Thursday each week for onsite support and collaboration. CEF uses a skills-first approach to recruitment and employment, emphasizing abilities and growth potential while working to remove barriers to access.
